Lester Villas

I purchased this beautiful 3-Unit Villa in March of 2017.  My family had relocated to Southern California and I thought it would be convenient and make sense to have a comfortable home away from home when I went down to visit.

When I purchased the Villa, it was on the rental management agreement.  I was never really happy knowing that people I didn’t know were occasionally staying there, and ones who more than likely would not care for my place the way I do.  La Costa’s housekeeping service would come in and clean it, but it was never left in the pristine condition that I was hoping for.  It was just considered a rental and the small amount of money that I made each month did not warrant letting La Costa rent it out, as each time I came back there was always a new scratch on the wall, necessary touchups were needed and the La Costa bedding was just so generic.

In December 2022 I took my villa off of the RMA and I’m so happy I did! The first thing I did was order new carpeting, paint, and a very deep clean by two individual companies a month apart. 

I am now on my own and have completely remodeled the entire Villa. (1829 ft.² ). Everything is new, high-end, comfortable, plush, and very special. When you go off the RMA, you are totally on your own, and that’s fine with me!  I now have my own private housekeeper.  I have trained her to be meticulous and leave the villa in pristine condition each and every time, bringing it right back to the high-level of cleanliness and quality that I enjoy and appreciate.

All of these wonderful changes would never have happened if it were not for one of the most amazing people that I know.  Artist and Interior designer, Donna Johansen!  With Donna‘s, amazing style, experience and expertise, my place is stunning! Donna has helped me so much with all of the furniture, purchases and remodeling, as well as fun additions that I have added.

When you explore the villa, you will see that Donna is the artist to just about every painting! She personally created each one for me based on the color, theme, and style that I like from my villa. Donna recommended introducing a little more color, such as ocean blue hues, since we are so close to the beach. It worked, and I couldn’t be happier.

Although my villa is now used by only myself, and to entertain my grandchildren, when I visit, occasionally, I will offer it to a friend or relative to use.
